Senior Marketing Manager

At GoKart Labs, we invent, make and market digital products & services that help our client partners transform their businesses. Our Senior Marketing Manager needs to be both tenacious and adaptable, taking on new and challenging tasks that deliver in today’s digital marketing environment.

This position requires expertise across both paid and organic marketing channels and will serve as a marketing strategist across initiatives. You will lead teams into the opportunities that will best deliver upon the business goals at hand.


What You Will Be Doing

  • You act as a client-facing marketing consultant who identifies and develops digital marketing programs aimed at solving real business challenges.
  • You work with solution leads and other team members to develop marketing strategies that drive identified key metrics, including conversions and lead generation.
  • You serve as a thought leader and client advocate for new technologies, platforms, and programs.
  • You can quantify and prioritize marketing tactics and initiatives accordingly while setting targets for return on investment.
  • You can flip between execution and strategy, keeping clarity on high-levels goals while still being willing to roll your sleeves up and directly manage one or more channels to drive performance.
  • You support new business and expansion efforts in sales consultant role.

What You Are Good At

  • You have a strong point of view on market trends and new media capabilities.
  • You are collaborative and enjoying working through ideas with others real-time on a whiteboard.
  • You are highly analytical with a keen appreciation for creativity and brand.
  • You have experience in digital advertising platforms including Google AdWords and Facebook.
  • You are savvy in analytics platforms like Google Analytics, Unbounce, CrazyEgg, or HotJar.
  • You are a master at keeping track of the details relating to the execution of digital marketing and search engine marketing campaigns.
  • You are proficient in Excel, able to pull and organize data using pivot tables and lookup functions.


What You Have Done

  • You have worked in a business with clients and understand what it takes to collaborate across teams to make clients happy.
  • You have 6-8 years on the job marketing strategy experience, preferably agency side.
  • You have partnered with many marketers, creatives and business stakeholders to deliver results.
  • You can present your work with confidence. It could be a campaign you built and launched yourself, something you worked on with a team that delivered tangible business results.
